From The Desk Of The Executive Director
Warm, tropical air and marveling at the random afternoon rain showers… that’s the buzz I hear from residents and staff as I walk around the community. It is definitely summer in the Lehigh Valley!
Speaking of buzz, summer is such a fun time here, with so many families visiting. Everyone is enjoying the patio picnics on Wednesdays, and there are so many people here! I love seeing all the kids buzzing around during their summer break, and the warm, comfortable feeling with entire families visiting — adults, kids, everyone!
I hope that everyone continues to enjoy the patio every week, and especially be sure to get out to the patio to enjoy a few hot dogs for National Hot Dog Day on July 17th.
As always, please be sure to drink lots of water during the hot weather to keep yourself safe.
Happy Fourth of July!

This is the the peak of summer, so we’re bringing a little sun and surf to the next theme meal on Thursday, July 18th. The seafood themed menu will feature crab and shrimp favorites and more.
It’s great seeing everyone on the patio on Wednesdays for the patio picnics. Be sure to check out the great new patio furniture. The tables and chairs are perfect for picnics, activities, or just to simply spend time together and enjoy the beautiful summer weather.
Bakers Club is on Thursday, July 18th. This month, Bakers Club will be hosted by Allison, our activity assistant. I will be back for Bakers Club in August.

News from Activities
July is all about getting outside — sun and fun!
While the weather is warm and pleasant, I’m holding as many activities outdoors as I can. Please join us every Wednesday and Friday on the back patio. Wednesdays are our patio picnic lunches and Fridays are our Friday socials.
Did you know that we’re still growing our family tree? I’m on the lookout for more photos of you. We love seeing photos of residents from different times in their lives — it’s so much to fun to look for familiar faces and get to know each other better. Any photos submitted can be copied right away and returned. Please contact me for more information.
