From The Desk Of The Executive Director
Happy new year to all!
I hope everyone had a very happy holiday season and is looking ahead to a great 2020. We had so many events here at DevonHouse, from brunch and photos with Santa, to groups of carolers bringing extra cheer!
The most fun part was seeing everyone out and about enjoying the festivities. Not only did I get to reconnect with many familiar friends and families, but I also had the privilege of meeting some special guests from out of town.
Thank you all for making the holidays so special by being a part of our community.
As I look ahead to 2020, I’m excited about the return of the many traditions that make DevonHouse such a wonderful place throughout the year.
Before we know it, we’ll be back out on the patio for lunch every Wednesday and planning for the luau!
All of us at DevonHouse look forward to a very happy year with you.

Thank you to everyone who made our annual pie sale a great success! The pie sale will be back next November, as it is every year.
Now, we look ahead to a great year, starting off with a lucky meal on New Years Day.
Join us at lunch for a traditional pork and sauerkraut meal. This Pennsylvanian Dutch tradition is said to bring luck throughout the entire year.
Our January theme meal features Chinese cuisine and decorations. Join us – this is sure to be a festive night!

Happy new year! Thank you for making the holidays such a fun and festive time by joining in all of our events!
Let’s keep the momentum going in 2020 and make this the best year yet. The new year is the ideal time to return to healthy habits or reinvent yourself with healthy goals and resolutions.
If one of your resolutions is exercise, remember that we hold exercises six days a week at 10:00 am in the living room!
Or, perhaps your resolution is to get more involved? Be sure to check the activity calendar for familiar favorites and all that is new in the new year.
I look forward to seeing all of YOU in 2020!
