News from Chef Jim’s Kitchen
We are celebrating Easter this month, with a brunch-style menu on the holiday, featuring pit ham with all the fixings, breakfast items, and a delicious cheesecake for dessert.
Now that spring has arrived, we are switching fully to our spring and summer menus. Look for new items, plus familiar favorites!
Throughout April, we have plenty of fun, food related events including Blueberry Pie Day, Coffee Cake Day, Pretzel Day, and many more. All of these events are featured on the food events calendar outside the dining room.

News from Activities
Spring has sprung – the days are longer, the weather is getting warmer, and there is plenty to do!
We have lots of fun activities and spring crafts planned. Craft class is every Thursday at 3:30 pm. These are “make-and-take” crafts, which means that the crafts are yours to keep!
We are also happy to have “Paintsome Pottery” back on the calendar on April 24th. Please be sure to sign up in advance, as space is limited.
Music is in the air every Tuesday at 2:00 pm in the living room. As soon as the weather is warm enough, we will invite our favorite musicians back to perform on the patio. And speaking of the patio, with the weather changing, we are that much closer to other regular outdoor events too!
As always, if there are any activities or programs you would like to see added to the calendar, please come talk with me.

P.S. You can see more about the activities our residents enjoy on our facebook page. Schedule highlights for the month are here.
