DevonHouse Senior Living | July 2022 News & Events
News from Chef Jim’s Kitchen
July is here, and of course that means we’ll be out on the patio for a July 4th cookout! Join us outside on the 4th for lunch, and on Wednesdays throughout the month. We’ll serve up favorites hot off the grill. Of course, our regular menu is available indoors, too.
This is the perfect time of year to cool off with an ice cream, so be sure to join us for our Friday socials. As ever, we alternate an ice cream social with a wine and cheese social from week to week.
Please check the calendar for details and for more great dining events.
7/7 – Macaroni Day
7/11 – Blueberry Muffin Day
7/14 – French Fry Day
7/23 – Hot Dog Day

News from Activities
Our summer kicked off with a night to remember – last month’s Senior Prom – and continues with more fun and music.
Our summer concert series continues through July. Join us every Tuesday evening at 6:30 pm on the back patio (weather permitting). The July lineup includes many favorites you know and love: our favorite Elvis impersonator, Robin & Jim, Terri Kane, and John Bauer. If the weather doesn’t cooperate, the show must go on! We will enjoy great music in the living room.
Ready to get out and about? Keep a lookout for another shopping trip on the calendar.
-Melissa Bartynski, Director of Activities
P.S. You can see more about the activities our residents enjoy on our facebook page. Schedule highlights for the month are here.
